Protecting More Than Just the Roof

In Tinton Falls, NJ, we recently finished a roof replacement that focused on more than just shingles. As a trusted roofing contractor in New Jersey, we began by removing all the existing materials to expose the wood sheathing underneath. From there, we installed Pro Guard Synthetic Underlayment and a premium ice and water membrane to protect the home against moisture. The shingles chosen were Sierra Grey, paired with a white drip edge for a clean look. All existing gutters were cleaned, and we installed new gutter guards to help keep them working properly. At the front entryway, we sealed new metal flashing over exposed wood in the stone wall to protect it from water damage. We also added kick-out flashing where the roof meets the stone to guide water into the gutter, keeping it off the wall. These small changes can make a big difference in the long run.
