Siding Replacement in Atlantic Highlands, NJ

Firebrick Red Siding with New Insulation & Rebuilt Porch Columns
How much was this siding replacement in Atlantic Highlands, NJ? $24,707.22

This Atlantic Highlands, NJ siding replacement gave the home a much bolder exterior while also addressing what sits behind the finished siding. The existing materials were completely removed to expose the wood sheathing, then upgraded rigid foam insulation panels were installed around the entire house before the new Norandex Cedar Knolls Vinyl Siding went on. The homeowner chose Firebrick Red in a 5-inch standard horizontal profile, contrasted with white outside corners, trim, fascia, soffits, and accessories. The existing shutters were removed and eliminated altogether, keeping the new exterior cleaner and letting the siding color stand on its own. Another major part of the project was the front porch, where temporary supports were used while the existing columns were replaced with new engineered 6-by-6-inch lumber. Those new columns were then wrapped in PVC-coated aluminum trim for protection, with the porch railings reconnected once the work was complete. It’s the kind of project where a siding installation contractor has to coordinate both the exterior finish and the structural details around the entry.
