Deck Replacement in Shrewsbury, NJ

Cottage Grey Fiberon Decking with White Railings & Privacy Skirting
How much was this deck replacement in Shrewsbury, NJ? $17,277.77

This deck replacement in Shrewsbury, NJ started with the complete removal of the existing deck boards, staircase, and railings, exposing the wood substructure underneath. Once everything was opened up, an important issue with the staircase could be addressed: the existing stringers were spaced 24 inches on center. The staircase was rebuilt with proper support spacing to meet New Jersey Building Code and the decking manufacturer’s requirements before the new materials went in. Fiberon® Good Life grooved decking in Cottage Grey was used throughout the deck, paired with white fascia, stair stringers, risers, and square-spindle railings for a bright, clean contrast. The old material beneath the deck was also replaced with white square privacy lattice, along with a new access panel door so the area underneath can still be used for storage. It’s the kind of detail an experienced deck installation contractor can address while rebuilding the space from the structure up.
