Roof Replacement in Brick, NJ

Driftwood Shingles & Updated Roof Ventilation
How much was this roof replacement in Brick, NJ? $10,738.01

This Brick, NJ roof replacement was built around a more natural, understated look, using Driftwood shingles with white edge metal around the roofline. One of the important details on this home was the ventilation setup. Since the house already uses gable vents at the peaks, a ridge vent was not needed under New Jersey Building Code. Instead, the two existing passive vents on the upper rear section of the roof were replaced with new GAF Master Flow IR65 Plastic Slant Back Roof Vents and sealed into the new system. A Perma-Boot was also installed, and plywood was included at no additional charge in case any decking needed to be replaced while the roof was open. Altogether, the project gave the home an updated roofing system while keeping the existing ventilation design in mind, something an experienced roofing installation contractor needs to account for on every job.
