Siding Replacement in Atlantic Highlands, NJ

Champagne Shake Siding with New Azek-Wrapped Porch Columns
How much was this siding replacement in Atlantic Highlands, NJ? $26,270.02

This Atlantic Highlands, NJ siding replacement focused on completely refreshing the front of the home while giving the entryway and garage a cleaner, more updated shape. The existing front siding was removed down to the wood sheathing before new Norandex® Rustic Hill 7-inch Traditional Shake siding in Champagne was installed. The triangular peak above the front entry was finished in the same shake siding and framed with white trim along the bottom to give the feature more definition. Around the garage, the angled upper corners were eliminated so the trim could be squared off for a cleaner appearance. The existing round porch columns were also removed and rebuilt with exterior-grade pressure-treated lumber, then wrapped in Azek PVC trim to create new 12-by-12-inch square columns with decorative trim at the top and bottom. The decorative column beside the garage was also set to be inspected and removed if confirmed to be non-structural. It’s the kind of front-elevation transformation an experienced residential siding contractor has to approach as a complete design rather than simply replacing the siding.
