Siding Replacement in Colts Neck, NJ

White CERTAplank® Siding with Custom Window, Trim & Garage Updates
How much was this siding replacement in Colts Neck, NJ? $43,526.31

This Colts Neck, NJ siding replacement was planned as a full exterior update using CertainTeed® CERTAplank 7-inch Reinforced Clapboard siding in White. The existing wood siding was completely removed to expose the sheathing before the new system went on, but this project also included several custom changes to the home itself. Two small second-story windows at the rear were eliminated and framed in so the new siding could run cleanly across that section. Around the remaining windows and doors, the homeowner chose a narrower 2-inch picture-frame trim with built-in J-pockets, while Azek crown molding was added above openings where space allowed, including the garage doors. The curved arch above the garage was also removed so the trim could be squared off for a more updated look. At the rear French doors, existing decorative trim was replaced to keep the exterior materials consistent. With planned garage repairs and a new addition also being completed around the same time, this was the kind of project where an experienced contractor for siding had to work around both the existing structure and upcoming changes to the home.
