Siding Replacement in Middletown, NJ

Sierra Shake & Clapboard Siding with Upgraded Insulation and Azek Trim
How much was this siding replacement in Middletown, NJ? $38,152.60

This Middletown, NJ siding replacement involved a full exterior update with two different siding styles used to give the home more dimension. The front of the house received Norandex® Rustic Hill 7-inch Traditional Shake siding in Sierra, while the sides and rear were finished with 5-inch horizontal Norandex® Performance Vinyl Clapboard siding in the same color. Before the new siding went on, the existing siding and trim were completely removed to expose the wood sheathing, and upgraded 3/8-inch extruded foam insulation was installed over the synthetic underlayment. The project also included several architectural changes at the front of the home: the angled trim above the garage doors was removed to square off the openings and better expose the windows above, while the decorative porch arches were eliminated to create a straighter, more updated header. New Azek solid PVC trim was then installed around the porch columns and header beam. These kinds of design and installation details are what an experienced siding installation contractor has to coordinate carefully when updating an entire exterior.
