Siding Replacement in Monmouth Junction, NJ

Olive Insulated Dutchlap Siding with New Trim & Chimney Removal
How much was this siding replacement in Monmouth Junction, NJ? $24,327.25

This Monmouth Junction, NJ siding replacement involved a full exterior refresh using Norandex® Polar Wall Plus Insulated Vinyl Siding in Olive. The existing siding was completely removed to expose the wood sheathing before the new system was installed. The homeowner also chose to remove all shutters for a cleaner look, while the existing mix of window and door trim styles was replaced with consistent wide aluminum coil trim in a picture-frame style with built-in J-pockets. The fascia capping was replaced as well, which required the existing gutters and Gutter Helmet leaf guards to be loosened or removed and then re-secured once the work was complete. One of the more unique parts of the project was the masonry chimney, which was taken down to siding height and capped with aluminum coil, with the surrounding roof area repaired using shingles supplied by the homeowner. It’s the kind of exterior project a residential siding contractor has to coordinate carefully when siding, trim, gutters, and masonry details all come together in one job.
