Blending the Old with the New

We went out to Navesink, NJ for a siding replacement. We were asked to use a mix of the homeowner’s existing materials along with new ones. The siding style selected was Everlast 4½” clapboard in Seaside Gray, giving the garage a consistent and finished look. Before installation, we applied Tyvek Housewrap to help with moisture control and long-term performance. The siding was installed over the existing wood siding, which helped preserve structure while adding a layer of protection. White trim and outside corners gave the project a clean, balanced look. Our team carefully matched the older pieces with the new ones to make everything blend smoothly. This type of project shows how flexibility and planning with the right siding installation contractor can bring results without full demolition – sometimes it’s about working smart with what you already have.
